Took a road trip out to the Oklahoma panhandle over the Easter weekend and took a few detours do get in some extra sketches. It was good to see some parts of Oklahoma that I haven’t seen before, looking forward to getting the chance to do it again.
Fairview. I’ve driven by the road that goes to Fairview several times over the years. This year I finally decided to check it out. I picked a good time because the town had a craft fair that day. From Fairview I drove on to Arnett. What caught my eye was this cabin in a park off the main road. A plaque on the side of the cabin said it was built in 1893.Buffalo. I had a couple places in town I wanted to sketch, like the Love’s store we would stop by on the way to Grandma’s house when I was little, but when I found this place, I knew I needed to sketch it. It is one of my favorites so far.
